What travels with every credit

A tonne measured on our instruments cannot be issued through another registry. That sits in the contract with every developer, not in a policy we hope people follow.

Retirement is irreversible and public, so reselling a retired credit shows up to anyone reading the record. We also flag where a host country is counting the removal toward its own NDC, because that changes what you are allowed to claim.
